A welcoming and well-run PRU in Uxbridge are seeking an Employability Coach/Careers Mentor to work with their year 11 students. This role is ideal for an individual with a career background – used to engaging with KS4/5 young people.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills – supporting young people to prevent them from becoming NEET.
This role requires the selected person to assist with college and job applications. if you have experience in any of the above then this role could be right for you.
Responsibilities:
- Designing care plans that best suit the student's needs.
- Providing emotional support by talking to students about their needs and listening to their concerns.
To apply for this role you must have:
- Experience supporting children or adults with SEMH and challenging behaviour.
- Experience as a support worker.
- Willingness to learn.
