This is a full-time role starting immediately and continuing in September. Assist the EYFS teaching staff in planning and implementing developmentally; £85 - £90 a day

- Assist the EYFS teaching staff in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lessons.
- Support individual children or small groups in their learning, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Observe and monitor children's progress, identifying areas for additional support or intervention.
- Provide feedback and contribute to the assessment and evaluation of children's development.
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional development, encouraging independence, self-confidence, and resilience.
- Assist with the management of the learning environment, ensuring it is safe, engaging, and well-resourced.
- Promote positive behaviour management strategies and help maintain a calm and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Exigences

  • Enhanced Child DBS on update service - or willing to apply.

  • A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare would be advantageous.

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and principles.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning and meeting individual needs.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, safeguarding, and child protection.
