Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Assistant? Do you possess behavioural and SEN support knowledge? We are currently looking for a passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a fantastic all through school in Uxbridge. This is an exciting opportunity to really make a difference to the lives of children and young people!
About the role:
Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students with moderate to severe complex learning needs and associated speech, language and communication difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
To create a safe, engaging and enjoyable learning experience
To assist with the assessment of students’ functional skills and sensory needs
To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised
Exigences
Available to work 08:30 - 16:00, Monday to Friday
Recent experience supporting children or adults with additional needs
Available immediately to work as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
Happy to apply for or already have an enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the update service
