Knowledge of different learning needs and strategies to accommodate them, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians. Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt approaches and techniques to meet the diverse needs of students. Relevant certifications or qualifications in special education, youth work, or related fields are desirable but not mandatory.
