Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students with diverse needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Basic understanding of educational practices and curriculum adaptations for students with special educational needs. Ability to handle challenging behaviours and adapt strategies to meet individual students' needs. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing school environment.
